I have a love-hate relationship with NYC, lol. But one thing I do love about NYC is the way that they show support for the different nations in the city! I love hearing the city-wide proclamations during the Nigerian Independence Parade each year, and watch them hang a Nigerian flag on October 1st on most years. Its awesome, well, Nigerians in NYC - take note! This Saturday, the beautiful Empire State Building will be lit in Green and White, celebrating Nigeria's participation in the London Olympics!
On Saturday, July 28, 2012, the Empire State Building will shine its iconic tower lights in green and white on the east side of the building to honor Nigeria’s participation in London Olympics.
The Empire State Building (ESB) will celebrate nations competing in London by illuminating each of the four sides of its famed tower lights – north, south, east and west – in the colors of participating countries’ flags.
